West Virginia's membership in the Big 12 becomes official on July 1st, but that's nothing more than a mere technicality.
As far as fans are concerned, the Mountaineers have been members of the Big 12 since they officially settled their dispute with the Big East back in February.
West Virginia released the video at the bottom of the page back in April proclaiming big things are coming in their new conference. Now they have the billboards going up in Morgantotwn to coincide with the new marketing campaign. It also features their star QB, Geno Smith, who could very well turn out to be the best quarterback in a league that has been known to produce of few good ones in the past.

How nice is that? And how happy do you think West Virginia is to have a home in a conference that all of sudden has the appearnance of stability? Who would have known?
