What a night. Iowa State 37, #2 Oklahoma State 31. In double overtime, nonetheless.
It was the biggest win in the history of Iowa State football so it's no surprise ISU is going to leverage the occasion heading into the 2012 season. And why wouldn't they?
The first evidence that November 18th, 2011 won't soon be forgotten in Ames comes with the debut of the Cyclones 2012 football poster. You have to love it.

The win over Oklahoma State not only knocked the Cowboys out the national title game, but it also gave the Cyclones their sixth win of the season which sent Iowa State to a bowl game for the second time in Paul Rhoads three seasons in Ames.
Paul Rhoads came on the College Football Playbook on Sirius XM on Thursday and was asked about the Cyclones expecting to win when they take the field. "We believe we're at the point that through preparation, through hard work that when that ball is getting ready to get teed up, we feel that if we go out and execute and go out and play, that we can play with everybody and anybody."
After beating one of the best teams in the country last season, there aren't many people that would argue with him on that point.
The Cyclones will hold their annual spring game on Saturday at Jack Trice Stadium with kickoff set for 2PM.
Iowa State opens the 2012 season on September 1st in Ames against Tulsa.
So what do you think? You can cast your vote on Wayin to the left, although I'm guessing "thumbs up" wins in a landslide.
