There's not much question who's the best receiver available in the upcoming NFL draft. This guy.

Justin Blackmon is at the top of every position ranking you'll see for the wide receiver position and many believe he could be the first player taken after Andrew Luck goes to Indianapolis with the number one pick.
It's not uncommon for guys that are sure-fire locks at the top of the draft to skip working out at the NFL combine. After all, for a guy like Blackmon, there's not a whole heck of a lot he can do to help himself at the combine. While the combine as a whole is only a piece of the evaluation process, a bad workout potentially could allow some doubts to creep into the minds of NFL execs, something a guy who is set to make millions doesn't exactly want too happen.
That's not going to be the route Blackmon will take, however, and you have to love it. In a report by Albert Breer on NFL.com, Blackmon said he plans to do it all at this year's combine which gets started February 22nd.
He also predicted he'll run the 40 between 4.4 and 4.5 seconds. Not bad for a guy who could check somewhere in the 215 to 220 pound range.
I remember a few years back with Ndamukong Suh did the same thing saying he had nothing to hide. He impressed at the combine, was picked second overall by the Lions, and went on to become an All-Pro player in his rookie season. It appears as if Blackmon will take the same approach and it wouldn't even be a little bit shocking if had had similiar results.
And if there was anybody out there that thought Blackmon might have something to hide by not working out, well, then they obviously haven't watched enough Oklahoma State game film. But from the sounds of it, Blackmon will lay it all out there for everyone to see and will probably put to shame his fellow collegiate wide receivers in the process, although it's nothing they should take personally. He is simply that good.
