The post season All-Star games continue this weekend with a new kid on the block. The Players All-Star Classic will be played for the first time at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock, AR at 3PM (CST) on Saturday, February 4th.
The game also has a TV contract although if you want to see the game on Saturday, odds are you had better live in the southern half of the country. The game will be carried on Comcast/Charter Sports Southeast (CSS) and Cox Sports Television (CST). CSS is based out of Atlanta, GA and CST's home is in New Orleans, LA. You can see a list of stations carrying the game here.
The Big 12 will have eight players taking part in practice this week followed up by the game on Saturday. Obviously, whoever picked the rosters wasn't looking at a map when doing so. James Hannah of Oklahoma, Scott Smith of Texas Tech, and Jamie Blatnick of Oklahoma State found themselves on the North's roster, while guys like Iowa State's Darius Reynolds and Mizzou's Wes Kemp will be playing for the South.
