Who doesn't love a good entrance video when their team hits the field? Every school does them these days and with all 10 Big 12 teams having played at least one home game, this year's versions have been hitting the internet over the past couple weeks.
Who has the best intro video in the Big 12? I'll let you be the judge.
Starting with the newcomers:
TCU - Very solid portraying the history of TCU football. Favorite quote: "Outsiders are labeling this a new era of TCU football. This isn't a new era. We've been playing and beating the powerhouses for 115 years."
West Virginia - there's no commentary, but plenty of WVU highlights past and present to see before the Mountaineers take the field.
Iowa State - always one of my favorites which I think has something to do with Cyclones and weather warnings.
Baylor - The Future is Now featuring the White Stripes.
Oklahoma - very cool. Features many former players heading down to the tunnel where they watch the video from the field. Favorite quote: "This ground, this field, it is my home and when you step through my door, pay your respects because greatness lives here."
Texas - the video is taken from the stands so it's not the best, but still gives you a good look at what the Longhorns take the field to with plenty of big hits. Plus you get the see the team take the field towards the end of the video. Relentless Intensity Swagger Emotion.
Kansas State - as many schools do, the Wildcats change their video depending on the opponent. This is K-State's video for the Miami game this past weekend and you guessed it, there's plenty of highlights from last season's victory at Miami.
That's seven of the 10 schools from the Big 12. I haven't been able to find anything yet for Oklahoma State, Kansas, or Texas Tech but will update the post when those teams make them available. If anyone know where I can find any of those schools, feel free to shoot me an email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
Enjoy the vids and thanks for stopping by.
