We can all breathe a sigh of relief, the offseason has finally come to a close.
South Carolina and Vanderbilt kick things off tonight on ESPN as the featured attraction. That will be followed on Friday night by Boise State's visit to East Lansing to take on Michigan State before the full barrage of games get underway on Saturday.
For the Big 12, there isn't much intrigue in the opening slate of games. Tulsa and Iowa State should be good, Marshall and West Virginia has some intrigue as does Wyoming and Texas. Not that anybody is complaining, it's football after all.
